About PredictEdge

PredictEdge is an AI-powered sports prediction and analytics platform built by Acid Drip Software. We combine XGBoost machine learning, sharp money signals, line movement, injury intel, weather, altitude, and 20+ other contextual factors to surface bets the books mispriced.

Predictions cover 39 leagues across baseball, basketball, football, hockey, soccer, tennis, cricket, golf, MMA, rugby, and lacrosse. The pipeline trains per-sport models daily on historical data and refreshes predictions every 5-10 minutes during live slates.

How predictions work

Each game runs through a 21-step pipeline: season-weighted team stats, strength-of-schedule, pace, defensive efficiency, momentum, rest, H2H history, travel fatigue, coaching tendencies, late-season urgency, line movement, sharp consensus, and finally an XGBoost blend trained on thousands of historical games per sport.

Sport-specific overlays kick in afterwards — MLB starting-pitcher xERA, NHL goalie GAA, MiLB elevation, NFL/CFB stadium altitude (Denver, Mexico City). Then injury impact is applied, the result is blended against the current market line, and value bets are flagged where our prediction diverges meaningfully from the book.
